Owner/Operator:  TJ Mallette

​

TJ has over 20 years of guiding and duck hunting experience from the top of the

flyway to the bottom. From blowing in the Junior World Duck Calling contests at

age 9 and qualifying for the World Duck Calling Contest several times, field

trials and hunt tests with our labs, he worked for conservation for Delta Waterfowl

before becoming a full time guide and outfitter. TJ has dedicated his life to duck and

goose hunting and has made it his passion and livelihood to share these 

experiences with others each morning developing lasting relationships with clients

afield.

Owner/Manager:  Ashton Mallette

​

Ashton has over 15 years of duck hunting experience growing up in the Louisiana 

marsh, continuing her waterfowling from Canada down the flyway to Arkansas.

Ashton manages the business management side of Black Duck as well as our chef 

and lodge manager. She can also be found burning up the roads scouting or setting 

a spread.
